Delhi Public School, Nacharam has always taken an initiative to incorporate and integrate activities that would enrich the students of Junior Primary and nurture their growth into equipoised individuals. British Council ISA, is one such initiative, which saw a large community of students working together on various activities which were conducted to highlight the message of global oneness. ‘EAST OR WEST BREAKFAST IS THE BEST’ was a project taken up by class II children to emphasize the importance of the first meal of the day. During this project, children learned about the breakfast patterns of different nations.

Children who learn appropriate social skills often have a higher self-esteem and show a greater willingness to interact with their environment as they grow. Social activities are a part of the process through which children develop the skills, attitudes, and values necessary to acquire social and emotional competence.
Various social activities carried out by junior primary section are:
- Save the sparrow : The project was envisaged to make the children realize that some birds and animals are becoming extinct and we, in our small way, need to do something. Earthen pots are put up on the trees as shelters and feeders were placed to facilitate the arrival of sparrows. A separate pet corner is also created for rabbits and hens.
- Saturday Soulmate : We at DPS Nacharam believe in instilling in our students the values of caring and sharing for others and making them realize that one must contribute and understand his/her social responsibilities towards society. As a part of this our students visit an orphanage on the last Friday of every month to distribute old toys, books, and eatables.
- Care and Share Activity : This activity forms the basis of the value system of a child; the child needs to be taught to ‘reach out’ to other individuals. In this regard, special assemblies are conducted with the focus to show the importance of ‘caring’ and ‘sharing’.

Rang Manch – An Open Theatre by the students of the Dramatics club was inaugurated to provide an informal platform for the budding theatre-loving students.

A unique Programme was conducted to instill the love of poetry in students.

Special Features of Sr. Secondary School
- 8 – 8 classes: After the completion of syllabus in November for class 12 students, stay back classes are held upto 8:00 pm to help them prepare better for board exams under the guidance of experienced teachers.
- Academic Enrichment Courses: IIT, NEET, EEE, CLAT, SAT, CPM: School provides additional academic support and a one stop solution to the students to achieve success in different competitive exams like IIT, JEE, NEET, CLAT, IPM and SAT.
- Olympiads & other External Competitive Exams: Special guidance and coaching with no additional cost is offered to the students to qualify and achieve success in all external competitive exams. Many DPSites have reached National and International ranks.
- Capsule Courses During the time of exam specifically and also throughout the year, capsule courses are conducted for classes XI and XII where subject experts from eminent organizations conduct classes on important subtopics.
- Hostel facility during Board Exams: Keeping in mind the significance of the CBSE Board Exam appearing students’ needs, who at times have to be left alone due to parents’ commitments to travel out of city school management provides the permit to allow short time stay of a week to a fortnight in school hostel.

Leadership plays an important role in every aspect of a student’s life. Students go through many stages in life for career development where they need leadership skills.
Ways DPS Nacharam implants the leadership skills in the students are:
- Interdisciplinary Projects: The integrated projects bring about out of the box thinking opportunities. Challenges are for application of knowledge.
- Apprenticeship: Our school has been organizing an apprenticeship program for class XI students to get hands-on experience in the career choice they want to take up. Students participate in a three day internship programme at top firms of the city thus enhancing experiential learning.
- GD PRO: A competition where students of grades 9-12 take part in group discussions. They are graded based on the validity of their content, listening skills, speaking time, leadership and other criteria.

IIFBM : International Inter Firm Business Meet is not just an academic project or a co-scholastic programme, it is a platform for students to learn, imbibe and inculcate how conferences around the globe are carried out, through the medium of first hand learning experience. IIFBM is the only one of its kind unique hands-on learning experience that is offered at DPS to students of classes XI and XII.

Co Curricular Activities help students to develop problem-solving, reasoning, critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, and collaborative abilities. It is not always the curriculum in DPS Nacharam. We believe in holistic development even at senior secondary level. The students learn and relieve their stress through various art forms like dance, music, painting, baking, debating, sketching, animation, dramatics, self-defense (karate/taekwondo), Yoga etc.
- Wheelathon: Wheelathon is not a race against people or time but a race for a cause.
- Educational Tours: Educational trips to the best institutions in the city like CCMB, IICT, NIMH, NGRI, NIN, etc are organized.
